The cross-border line Bratislava – Hainburg
Bus line 901 to Hainburg is part of Integrated transport system (IDS BK) in Bratislava region. (The tariff conditions of VOR and KlimaTicket are not valid on bus line 901.)
- Buses on line 901 depart from Bratislava, Most SNP, via Einsteinova (in the direction of Bratislava also via stop Pri Sade, near Aupark), then via Wolfsthal to Hainburg an der Donau.
- From Monday to Saturday, buses usually run every hour, and on Sundays and holidays, they run every two hours.
- During morning and afternoon rush hours, buses run every 30 minutes.
- Buses also pass through Bratislava zones 100 + 101.
- Domestic transport on Slovak territory is PERMITTED from December 14, 2025.
- Domestic transport on Austrian territory is excluded.
The single travel tickets for zones 100 + 101 +190 can be purchased:
- on the bus: basic €2,50 / discounted €1,50 (tickets are non-transferable)
- in the mobile app IDS BK: basic €2,50 / discounted €1,25 (tickets are transferable, valid 60 minutes)
Prepaid travel tickets can be purchased:
- in the mobile app IDS BK
- in the IDS BK e-shop
- at the ticket offices of the NIVY bus station in Bratislava

(Note: The network ticket is not valid in zone 190. A combination of the network ticket and zone 190 can only be purchased in the IDS BK app.)
- Two bicycles can be transported directly in the vehicle throughout the year (on working days from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; on weekends and public holidays, bicycles are transported on buses without time restrictions, provided there is space available on the bus).
- During the cycling season, all buses also have a bike rack available for an additional 5 bikes.
- Loading and unloading of bicycles on the bike rack is only possible at the stops Bratislava, Most SNP – Hainburg/Donau, Pfaffenbergweg.
- Bicycles (luggage and dogs) are transported free of charge.
- To take your bicycle with you, simply purchase a ticket marked 100+101+190+🚲 in the IDS BK app.
According to the agreement, three partners participate in the financing: Bratislavský samosprávny kraj, Hlavné mesto SR Bratislava and Niederösterreich.
