Traffic Closure on the Line S70

Train services between Bratislava Nové Mesto – Bratislava Vrakuňa – Podunajské Biskupice will not operate on Thursday 12 November 2020 and on Friday 13 November 2020 from 9:25 AM until 1:10 PM due to works on the railway bridge in Vrakuňa.

Services heading to Bratislava will terminate at the railway station Podunajské Biskupice. Replacement bus services will continue to the stations Bratislava Vrakuňa and Bratislava Nové Mesto, where it will be possible to change to trains continuing to the Hlavná stanica (Main railway station). The closure will affect the following train services: Os 4317, Os 4318, Os 4319, Os 4320, Os 4321, Os 4322 and Os 4324.

On the journey to Bratislava it is possible to change at Podunajské Biskupice station to the line number 70 going to Most SNP (SNP Bridge) and to the line number 78 going to Nové SND (New Slovak National Theatre building).

Bus stops of the replacement bus services:

• Podunajské Biskupice – in front of the station building
• Bratislava-Vrakuňa – at the city public transport stop “Železničná”
• Bratislava-Nové Mesto – in front of the station building.

Transport of bicycles will not be possible, and transport of prams and immobile passengers will be limited in the replacement bus services.

Waiting of the connecting train services for the replacement bus services will not be guaranteed in case of long delays. The train delays are estimated for approximately 15-20 minutes.

Traffic closures on the line S70 will continue also during the following days. We will provide further information about the closures and replacement services.
