CHANGES IN TRANSPORT FROM 15 NOVEMBER 2021


Dear passengers.

From Monday 15 November 2021, a lot of changes will take place in the Integrated Transport System in the Bratislava Region.

The changes apply to regional bus transport.

On this website you can find all the necessary information you need to know about the changes to regional bus lines which will come into force on 15 November 2021.


CHANGES FROM 15 NOVEMBER 2021

BRATISLAVA

•Changes to the way how entering and exiting the vehicles is organized within the Bratislava city

o Passengers can board the vehicles through all doors at all stops within the city boundaries and only in the direction to the Bus station (Bratislava, Autobusová stanica).

•Changes to the numbering of the regional bus lines

o Lines will be numbered according to the individual areas or directions, respectively, which they serve.

Pezinok area

Night line 598 will take the route Bus station – Bajkalská street – Rožňavská street.

•Line 215

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Patrónka

o All services on this line will be shortened.

•Line 246

o The line will serve the stop Bratislava, Panské.

o All services in both directions will stop at the stop Bratislava, Panské.

•Line 510

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Rača, Nám. A. Hlinku.

o All services on this line will be shortened.

o Transfer to city tram lines will be possible at the stop Bratislava, Detvianska.

o The line will connect with S50 and S55 trains going from and to Bratislava at Svätý Jur railway station.

•Line 525

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Shopping Palace.

o All services on this line will be shortened.

•Line 527

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Shopping Palace.

o All services on this line will be shortened.

•Line 528

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Shopping Palace.

o All services on this line will be shortened.

•Line 531

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Rača, Nám. A. Hlinku

o All services on this line will be shortened.

o Transfer to city tram lines will be possible at the stop Bratislava, Detvianska.

•New stop “Bratislava, Bojnická” for regional bus lines

o The stop “Bratislava, Bojnická” will be served in both directions by the lines 605, 609, 598 and 699.

o The stop will be shared with the city public transport.

•New stop “Bratislava, Klientske centrum” for regional bus lines

o The stop “Bratislava, Klientske centrum” will be served in both directions by the lines 605, 609, 598 and 699.

o The stop will be shared with the city public transport.

•New stop “Bratislava, Pod stanicou” for regional bus lines

o The stop “Bratislava, Pod stanicou” will be served by all regional lines passing it on their routes, but only in the direction to the Bus station (Bratislava, Autobusová stanica). In the direction out of the city centre the lines will continue not to serve the stop.

•The division of platforms between the regional bus lines at the stop “Bratislava, Bajkalská” will be changed.

WHOLE REGION

•Change to the character of the stops

o All stops of the regional bus lines will have the character of REQUEST STOPS.

o Under “REQUEST” it is understood, when the passenger stands on a visible place at the stop (before boarding the vehicle), or when the passenger presses the request button in the vehicle (before getting off the bus), respectively.

•Change of the regional bus operator:

o A new transport operator, ARRIVA Mobility Solutions, s. r. o., will join the IDS BK.

o The transport operator Slovak Lines will no longer be part the IDS BK.

o The new bus operator ARRIVA will provide transport services on all IDS BK regional bus lines.

o The change of the transport operator will have no effect on the validity of prepaid Travelcards on the contactless smart cards issued by the transport operator Slovak Lines. The use of all Travelcards issued by Slovak Lines and purchased before 15 November 2021 will not be limited in any way. No action is needed from the side of the passengers.

o The passengers will not lose any money topped up on the contactless smart cards issued by the transport operator Slovak Lines.

•Change to the system of numbering regional express bus lines.

o Express bus lines will be marked in a format X0Y, in which:

X = code of the area

0 = number

Y = last number of the standard line number

•Change to the system of numbering all regional bus line licences

o All lines will have their licence numbers in a format 010XYZ, in which

010 = is a code for IDS BK lines

XYZ = is a number consistent with the line numbers presented to passengers

•Changes in timetables in the areas of Pezinok, Senec and Šamorín.

o Timetables will be changed, so that there is a regular “clock-face” schedule secured on all regional bus lines. This change will also create more opportunities for transfers TRAIN-BUS and BUS-BUS.

o Selected changes are taking place on 15 November 2021, and more are expected on 12 December 2021.

•Introduction of regional night bus lines

o Regional night lines will operate always on days before weekend days and bank holidays in the direction from Bratislava to the region.

o Night lines will have departures always at 35 minutes past midnight from the stop “Bratislava, Hodžovo nám.” (in front of the Presidential palace).

o The absolutely first regional night services will depart Bratislava during the night from 16 November to 17 November 2021, since 17 November is a bank holiday in Slovakia.

o The following regional night lines will be introduced:

o Regional night line 599 will have all stops in Vinosady and Modra only for getting off the bus.

o Regional night line 798 will have all stops in Malinovo, Zálesie, Tomášov and Nová Dedinka only for getting off the bus.

•Change to the operating time of the IDS BK Dispatching centre

o The IDS BK Dispatching centre will be available daily 24/7.

MALACKY AREA

•Changes to the numbering of regional bus lines

o Regional bus lines in the Malacky area will be renumbered as follows:

•Line 215

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Patrónka.

o All services on this line will be shortened.

o Departure times on this line will be changed (10 minutes earlier).

•New line 299, regional night line

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Marianka – Stupava – Lozorno – Plavecký Štvrtok – Malacky.

•Departure times of bus services on individual lines in the Malacky area will be modified on 12 December 2021. Most timetables will be left without change until then.

PEZINOK AREA

•Regular time intervals secured during workday rush hours on the route Modra – Pezinok – Bratislava

o A 7,5 min. interval between services during the morning rush hour.

o A 10 min. interval between services during the afternoon rush hour.

•Regular time intervals secured during off-peak times on workdays and during weekends and bank holidays on the route Modra – Pezinok – Bratislava

o A 30 min. interval between services.

•New line 506, regional express

o The line will replace current regional lines 535 and 576.

o The line will operate only during workday rush hours.

o The line will not serve the stops Bratislava, Mladá Garda and Bratislava, Pekná cesta within Bratislava city.

o The line will not have stops in Svätý Jur.

o The line will not have stops in Pezinok, Grinava.

o The line will not stop at selected stops in Pezinok.

o The line will not stop at selected stops in Vinosady.

o The line will not stop at selected stops in Modra.

o The line will serve all stops on the route between the villages Dubová and Horné Orešany.

•Line 510

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Rača, Nám. A. Hlinku.

o Transfer to city tram lines will be possible at the stop Bratislava, Detvianska.

o The line will operate only during workday rush hours.

o The line will connect with S50 and S55 trains going from and to Bratislava at Svätý Jur railway station.

•Line 522 (so-called city public transport in Pezinok)

o The line will be cancelled.

o In line with the legislation in force, Bratislava self-governing region will no longer order city public transport in cities. City public transport services will be in the competence of city Pezinok, which was informed about this change in advance.

o Parts of Pezinok will continue to be served by regional lines 249 and 520, but only during workday rush hours.

•Line 525

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop “Bratislava, Shopping Palace”.

o Along a common section of the route with the line 527 there will be a regular time interval between services of the lines 525 and 527 – 15 minutes during rush hours and 30 minutes during off-peak times.

•Line 527

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop “Bratislava, Shopping Palace”.

o Along a common section of the route with the line 525 there will be a regular time interval between services of the lines 525 and 527 – 15 minutes during rush hours and 30 minutes during off-peak times.

•Line 528

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop “Bratislava, Shopping Palace”.

o The route of the line in Ivanka pri Dunaji will be changed. It will permanently include the stop “Ivanka pri Dunaji, Zdravotné stredisko” in order to secure better level of service in this village.

•Line 529

o The line will have a 60 min. interval during workday off-peak times.

o A new pair of bus services will be added on workday evenings between Senec and Pezinok to secure transport of passengers working in the logistics park near Senec and changing working shifts at 10 PM.

•Line 531

o The line will replace all services of the line 521 on the route Limbach – Bratislava.

o The route of the line will be shortened to the stop Bratislava, Rača, Nám. A. Hlinku.

o Transfer to city tram lines will be possible at the stop Bratislava, Detvianska.

o The line will operate only during workday rush hour.

o The line will have a detour through the village Štefanová in both directions during workday afternoon rush hours.

•Line 539

o The line 539 bus services will meet with the line 545 services and with trains REX no. 172x (from/to Prievidza) every 4 hours at the stop Šenkvice, žel. st.

o The line 539 bus services will meet with the line 545 services and with REX trains (from/to Bratislava) during workdays at the stop Šenkvice, žel. st.

o The line will operate in a 240 min. interval during weekends.

o The line will have the route Senec – Blatné – Šenkvice – Modra (– Dubová – Častá).

o The line 539 bus services will serve the villages Dubová and Častá only during workday rush hours.

o The main purpose of this line is to bring passengers to the transfer hub in Šenkvice, from where it is possible to take a fast connection to Bratislava thanks to category REX trains.

•Line 540

o The line will have a 60 min. interval during weekends between Pezinok and Zochova chata.

o The line will have a 120 min. interval during weekends between Bratislava and Zochova chata.

o The weekend services with the route Pezinok, žel. st. – Zochova chata will always connect with the line 565.

•Line 545

o The line 545 bus services will meet with the line 539 services and with trains REX no. 172x (from/to Prievidza) every 4 hours at the stop Šenkvice, žel. st.

o The line 545 bus services will meet with the line 539 services and with REX trains (from/to Bratislava) during workdays at the stop Šenkvice, žel. st.

o The line will have the route (Pezinok, žel. st. – Pezinok, Muškát) – Šenkvice – Vištuk – Budmerice – Štefanová – Doľany.

o The line will serve city Pezinok only during workday rush hours.

•Line 566

o The line will be renumbered to the line number 550.

•Line 550

o This line will form the backbone of the regional bus network in the Pezinok area. Its services will connect Bratislava – Modra – Červený Kameň – Doľany (and further as the line 555 in the direction of Trnava), and Bratislava – Modra – Častá – Doľany – Štefanová.

•New line 551, regional school line

o The line will operate on the route Budmerice – Štefanová – Doľany – Častá – Červený Kameň.

o It will be an independent line. The services on this route currently operate on several different lines.

•Line 555

o The line will operate on the route Doľany ↔ Trnava.

o The line will be a direct continuation of selected services on the line 550.

•Line 565

o This line will replace the line 650.

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Svätý Jur – Pezinok – Vinosady – Modra – Vištuk – Budmerice – Jablonec – Cífer.

o The line will have added services with the route Cífer – Jablonec – Budmerice, which will connect with trains in Cífer.

o The line will have an irregular 60 min. interval the whole day between Budmerice and Cífer.

•New line 598, regional night line

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava, Hodžovo nám. – Mlynské Nivy – Prievozská – Bajkalská – Rozňavská – Zlaté piesky – Pri mlyne – Vajnory – Čierna Voda – Malý Raj – Chorvátsky Grob – Slovenský Grob.

o The following stops will be only for getting off the bus in the direction from Bratislava:

•New line 599, regional night line

o The following stops will be only for getting off the bus:

Vinosady, Pezinská

SENEC AREA

•Changes in platform assignments to regional lines in Senec

o The stops “Senec, aut. st.” (bus station) and “Senec, žel. st.” (railway station) will have a new division of platforms.

•New line 605, regional express

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava, aut. st. (Bus station) ↔ Senec, aut. st.

o In Bratislava the line will operate along the streets Trnavská and Rožňavská, where it will stop at new stops Bratislava, Klientske centrum and Bratislava, Bojnická.

o All services on this line in the direction to the Bus station will serve the stop “Bratislava, Mliekarenská”.

o Selected services on this line will continue from the stop Senec, aut. st. to Čataj, obratisko as the line 645.

o Selected services on this line will continue from the stop Senec, aut. st. to Jelka, garáž as the line 659.

•New line 609, regional express

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava, AS ↔ Jelka, garáž

o In Bratislava the line will operate along the streets Trnavská and Rožňavská, where it will stop at new stops Bratislava, Klientske centrum and Bratislava, Bojnická.

o All services on this line in the direction to the Bus station will serve the stop “Bratislava, Mliekarenská”.

•Line 610

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Ivanka pri Dunaji – Zálesie – Malinovo

o The line will have a significantly shortened interval between services – 30 min. during rush hours and 60 min. during off-peak times.

o The line will operate daily between 4 AM and midnight.

o All services on this line will operate to Malinovo.

•Line 620

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Ivanka pri Dunaji – Bernolákovo – Nová Dedinka – Tureň – Senec.

o The line will not serve the stop “Bratislava, Mliekarenská”.

o The line will not serve the villages Zálesie, Kostolná pri Dunaji, Hrubý Šúr a Hurbanova Ves.

o All services on this line will have new more attractive departure times.

o Selected services during workday afternoon rush hours will operate on the route Senec ↔ Tureň, independently from the services Bratislava ↔ Tureň, to secure connections to trains at Senec railway station (currently secured by the line 629).

•Line 622

o The line will be cancelled.

o The stop “Bernolákovo, Kaštieľ will be served by the line 630.

•Line 629

o The line will be cancelled.

o The connection between Tureň and Senec will be secured by the line 620.

•Line 630

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Ivanka pri Dunaji – Bernolákovo – Senec.

o There will be new departure times on all services.

o The line will no longer be the last evening connection to the Senec area. The last evening services will be secured by the line 610 in the direction of Ivanka pri Dunaji (departure at 11:37 PM from Bratislava) and by the line 632 in the direction of Bernolákovo and Senec (departure at 11:45 PM from Bratislava).

o Selected services on this line will terminate at the stop “Bernolákovo, Kaštieľ” (instead of the cancelled line 622).

•Line 632

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Bernolákovo – Veľký Biel – Senec.

o The line will have an extended operation period during the day.

o The line will operate through Veľký Biel during workday morning rush hours when going in the direction of Bratislava with a 30 min. interval.

o The line 632 together with the line 729 will create a 30 min. interval between Veľký Biel and Senec during workday morning rush hours.

•Line 640

o The line will operate on the route Senec – Boldog – Reca – Veľký Biel – Čataj – Igram – Kaplna – Báhoň.

o The line will have the following route Between Kaplna and Báhoň:

Kaplna, U Šamíra → Báhoň, Žel. st. → Báhoň, ZŠ → Báhoň, OUNZ → Kaplna, U Šamíra

o The services on this line will have new departure times on the section of the route between Veľký Grob – Báhoň – Veľký Grob taking in account train departures and a more even distribution of services between Senec and Veľký Grob.

o There will be a better connection with the S50 trains at Báhoň, žel. st. and the transfer time will be shortened.

o There will be a better connection with the S60 trains at Senec, žel. st. and there will be more connecting services.

o A better opportunity for transfer between the line 640 and 666 will be created at the stop “Kaplna, kostol”. The services will wait each other at this stop in case of delays.

•Line 645

o The line will be shortened, and it will operate on the route Senec – Blatné – Kaplna – Igram – Čataj.

o The line will not operate to Bratislava and to Veľký Grob.

o The line will have changed departure times of all services.

o The line will serve the stop Senec, žel. st., where it will connect with S60 and S65 train services (with the exception of selected services during the morning and afternoon rush hours)

o The line 645 together with the line 666 will shorten the interval between bus services on the route Senec – Blatné – Kaplna.

•Line 657

o The line will operate on the route Senec ↔ Nový Svet.

o Selected services on this line will also serve the village Kráľová pri Senci to secure accessibility of a school and doctor.

o The line will have partly modified departure times of services.

o The line will have an extended operation period during the day.

•New line 658

o The line will operate on the route Senec – Kráľová pri Senci – Hrubá Borša – Jelka – Veľké Úľany.

o The line will operate during workday morning and afternoon rush hours.

o The line will connect with S60 and S65 trains at Senec railway station during morning rush hours (transfer to trains in the direction of Bratislava) and during afternoon rush hours (transfer from trains from Bratislava).

o The line will significantly shorten the travel time from Jelka.

o Selected services on this line will serve also Veľké Úľany, Nové Osady.

•Line 659

o The line will be shortened, and it will operate on the route Senec – Kráľová pri Senci – Hrubá Borša – Jánovce – Veľké Úľany – Jelka.

o The line will not operate to Bratislava.

•Line 666

o The line will operate on the route Senec – Blatné – Kaplna – Cífer – Hrnčiarovce nad Parnou – Trnava.

o The line will have a significantly extended operation period during the day – 4:30 AM until 11:30 PM.

o The line will operate with 60 min. intervals during rush hours and 120 min. intervals during off-peak times.

o The line will connect with S60 and S65 trains at Senec railway station and with S50 and S55 trains at Trnava railway station.

o The line 666 together with the line 645 will create a shorter interval on the route Senec – Blatné – Kaplna.

o A better opportunity for transfer between the line 640 and 666 will be created at the stop “Kaplna, kostol”. The services will wait each other at this stop in case of delays.

•New line 699, regional night line

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava, Hodžovo nám. ↔ Senec, Aut. st.

o In Bratislava the line will operate along the streets Trnavská and Rožňavská, where it will stop at new stops Bratislava, Klientske centrum and Bratislava, Bojnická.

•Line 729

o The line will operate on the route Senec – Veľký Biel – Nová Dedinka – Tomášov.

o The line will have an extended operation period until 9 PM.

o Two morning services from Veľký Biel will connect with S60 trains at Senec railway station.

ŠAMORÍN AREA

•Modified intervals on lines with common sections of routes between Bratislava – Most pri Bratislave and Bratislava – Rovinka.

o The offered capacity will be altered taking in account the passenger demand.

•Line 649

o The line will connect with S60 and S65 trains at Senec railway station, with bus lines 730 and 740 in Zlaté Klasy and with S70 trains in Kvetoslavov.

o Transfers between the line 649 and the listed connecting lines will be secured to and from all directions.

•Line 715

o The line will be cancelled on the section of the route between Hamuliakovo and Miloslavov due to low passenger demand.

o The line will be replaced by a strengthened line 737.

o The line 715 will operate on the route Bratislava – Rovinka – Dunajská Lužná. The services on this line will reinforce the line 725, 727 and 737.

•Line 725

o The line will have a shortened interval during workday morning rush hours from original 40 min. – 60 min. to 20 min. – 40 min.

•Line 737

o The line will have a shortened interval during workday rush hours from 30 min. to 20 min.

•Line 740

o During off-peak times the line will have two circular routes Zlaté Klasy – Nový Život and Čenkovce – Zlaté Klasy.

o After the arrival from Bratislava, selected services will continue along a circular route as follows:

Zlaté Klasy – Nový Život – Čenkovce – Zlaté Klasy

o After the arrival from Bratislava, selected services will continue along an “opposite” circular route as follows:

Zlaté Klasy – Čenkovce – Nový Život – Zlaté Klasy

o Thanks to the explained variants, the line will serve all villages on the route in a 60 min. interval during off-peak times.

•New line 798, regional night line

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Most pri Bratislave – Malinovo – Zálesie – Malinovo – Tomášov – Nová Dedinka.

•New line 799, regional night line

o The line will operate on the route Bratislava – Rovinka – Dunajská Lužná – Kalinkovo – Hamuliakovo – Šamorín.
